PUMA unveil the latest Brilliance Pack with women at the focus of the design, ready just in time for Kick off in Switzerland. With the new and improved women’s fit 2.0 Future already launched in previous weeks, we now see the Ultra and King join for one of the most playful and bold boot packs we have seen all year.
The scene is set. One week from now, the women’s Euro’s kicks off in the heart of Switzerland. PUMA are providing in the best way they know, with a brand-new Brilliance boot pack with focus on the tournament. The women’s game takes the lead with this one, each silo adapted and constructed to maximise female performance and comfort. A new and improved women’s fit 2.0 features amongst the Future, Ultra and King, empowering women from the ground up.
Possibly one of the boldest looks we have seen on a boot pack all year; the visuals are nothing short of stunning on each silhouette. It’s vibrant, it’s fun and it’s ready to take Switzerland by storm. Purples, blues, greens and pinks – what a combination. The design actually draws inspiration from the Euros, looking to motivate their athletes during some of the biggest moments of their career. The pristine white body imitates the brightness of the flood lights shining down on the players, whilst the splash of colour engulfing the soleplate and lower upper acts as a reminder that it is the athlete’s moment to paint their own colour onto the white canvas of the football pitch. PUMA include a final Euro’s touch, with the co-ordinates of the location of the final printed onto each silo.
Starting with the Future, already released in the last couple weeks, the Brilliance pack 3.0 sees an elevated new fit, once again improved in order to provide the very best for women. It’s called Future for a reason; this boot is all about innovation and modernity and this release is the epitome of that. Better comfort, better performance and better looks. A higher and tighter fit knit collar has been added, alongside an adapted foam padded heel which gives an all-round secure feel, maximising comfort and reducing blisters. For the first time, PUMA include an ‘Insole for Her’ – specifically engineered for the female foot, with extra cushioning and reinforced arch support.
The brand-new generation of Ultra sees a women’s fit for the first time, blending cutting-edge speed technology with female-specific designs. The sleek silhouette is fine-tuned for the modern attacker, arriving with a SPEEDSYSTEM CARBON outsole which delivers explosive acceleration and razor-sharp change of direction. A new Trax stud pattern works in tandem with the soleplate, giving that extra edge when taking on defenders. A lightweight mesh upper returned, fused with a GripControl pro skin to maximise control of the ball even at top speed. The ‘Insole for Her’ also features on the Ultra, making sure velocity isn’t the only focus on this boot, because what is speed without comfort.
Finally, the iconic King. This time fit for queens. A stunning colourful pattern paints the soleplate, instantly eye catching, whilst clean white adorns the upper. Polished with an iridescent finish that glimmers in the light. It’s beautiful. Much like the other two silos in this pack, the King sees an adapted heel with an added foam layer, alongside a specifically engineered insole for the female foot. The classic King sign off sits on the heel once again whilst purple takes over the established Form Strip. 10/10. No notes.
